Registered Agent

When you register your LLC with the state and you act as your own registered agent, can you at a later time change your registered agent? If you can change it, do you have to pay to file the paperwork again?

I would also like to know what you need to do in the event you move.

Yes, you can change your registered agent. The current fee for doing so (as of October, 2008), is ten dollars ($10.00).

The form (in Missouri), for doing so is called "Statement of Change of Registered Agent and/or Registered Office"
