how do i get off an llc

My partner and I split up in 2006. My name was taken off the LLC bank account, but today I looked up the corporation and it still has me as a member. Am I liable for what he has been doing with the LLC? I have had no financial gain, have not received reports or tax returns at all since 2005. What do I do? I thought I was off of this.
