I think you're confusing "residence" (as in the house/apartment where you live) and "resident agent", which is the legal address for your LLC.
One of the advantages of using an LLC formation service is that the normally include resident agent service.
This is a company that accepts legal service on behalf of your LLC.
However, you can very easily act as your own registered agent and have your business address be your home address. This does NOT mean that you can't establish business credit or a corporate veil. Many people use their home address as their resident agent address.
In your situation, because you are moving, it is probably best to use a registered agent service when forming your LLC and simply updating your new address with them.
