If I have already formed an LLC in the state of IL and I get an additional member am I obligated to amend my Articles of Organization?

Answer

You do not need to Amend your Illinois Articles of Organization in order to add members.

Instead, you can inform Illinois of additional (or removed) members when filing your Annual Report.
